 Help about beta driver
Hi, I'm on Win 7 x64 and using 1616M PCI. I uninstalled Emu driver but not Patchmix. Then i restarted and installed new beta driver. This is what appears in the info of Patchmix: It seems old, doesn't it?

But if it isn't broke... let it be a bit unfashionable.

 Re: Help about beta driver
Yours looks exactly like mine, other than the reference to "Microdock", where mine says "Audiodock"...
I can't remember what the v2.1 driver showed on the "About" screen...

 Re: Help about beta driver
My firmware version is 3.4. Also note, this is an original EMU 1212M.

It's been asked about before and the numbering system is definitely a little arcane and mixes 2 or 3 elements.

 Re: Help about beta driver
Geek programmers... 'Course, I won't mention who used to be one... I remember many a-time when we'd all be sitting around a table in a meeting, discussing "reqs" for a project, and the numbering system for the files always came up. You might have "package" 15, with rev 6 of file 12, and there being 100+ files in a package, it'd get downright corn-fuzing fast... And then someone would want to "revise" the tables' methodology...
